Fat fox village, a unique wild cat territory you should visit during your trip to Japan
Fox village located in Miyagi prefecture in the Tohoku region is one of the places where you can see more than 100 foxes playing freely. There are different types of foxes here such as silver foxes, blue foxes, platinum foxes… This animal is respected in Japan because locals believe they have supernatural powers. Many people also consider foxes a symbol of luck because they are the embodiment of Inari Okami, the god of fertility, prosperity and rice. You can visit and feed the foxes for about 5 USD/ticket.
